"Deutschland" Scholarship for Gifted Academics

abakus solar supports FH Gelsenkirchen during funding period 2011/12

This year, abakus solar AG repeatedly participates in the "Deutschland" scholarship program at the technical college (FH) Gelsenkirchen. The promotion certificates will be handed over to the scholars today. This instrument is a measure at Germany´s state and state-approved academies for supporting gifted and high-performing students independently from their income. It started in summer 2011. The program includes a monthly contribution of 150 Euro per scholar from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research provided that private third parties grant another 150 Euro. With 3,600 Euro, abakus solar is paying half of a full scholarship running for two years now. Thus, the scholar will be pleased of a 300 Euro financial benefit per month. The tight relationship with the college also provides a benefit for abakus: a systematic acquisition of academics from the electrical engineering faculty.
